In the current climate, harassment and assaults on racial and religious minorities, the
disabled, and others who may be perceived as ‘different’ have become increasingly
frequent. If you witness a harmful situation, you have choices to make. Should you do
something? How do you decide? If so, what should you do?
The Boston-area Active Bystander Training Team, trained by Quabbin Mediation, brings
its Active Bystander Workshop to Temple Beth Israel in Waltham, MA to help you
answer these questions. This is the first event from Temple
Beth Israel’s newly formed social justice committee, which
is dedicated to disseminating information and providing
opportunities for action related to social justice issues
affecting the synagogue and its surrounding communities.
