Rabbi Tracy Nathan

Rabbi Tracy Nathan is the rabbi at Temple Beth Israel. Rabbi Nathan received her ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, in 2003.

After serving at Congregation Beth Sholom in San Francisco, Rabbi Nathan and her family moved to the Boston area in 2006. She has taught at the Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Boston; at Genesis, Brandeis University’s summer program for high school students; and Tufts University, where she also facilitated interfaith programs. She lives in Brighton with her husband Rabbi Scott Slarskey, who is on the faculty at the Solomon Schechter Day School in Newton, and their five-year-old son.

Ellen Band joins us on the High Holidays and several Shabbat mornings during the year as our hazzan.

Mr. Morris Hollender has been reading Torah at Temple Beth Israel for over 30 years. Here he is singing a favorite song one morning after minyan.
